THIS piece fits the Lower part of the  tailgate.

This trim is for made specificly for 1973-79 trucks. Putting old original moldings back on your truck after a new paint job (no matter how straight they are) just ruins the paint job. It's almost a MUST to replace these tailgate moldings from Carolina Classics F-100s, just to get the most out of your restoration.
