Headlight Dimmer Switch 1948-56 (8A-13532)
The headlight dimmer switch is used to brighten or dim the headlights. This one for these year trucks is located on the slanted (toe board) part of the cab floor to the left of the steering column. The switch is a simple mechanical device. This can be a safety hazard, obviously, but it can also provide a major distraction to other drivers in oncoming traffic if you can't dim your lights, and can also make your light go completely out. Our dimmer switches have been manufactured with the good materials and specifically fit the ford truck series of the years 1948, 1949, 1950, 1952, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1955, & 1956.
