The high quality RUBBER cowl lace is what was original on the 1968-1969 truck, and worked much better than the one for previous year trucks made of FABRIC. Being designed specifically for the 1968, and 1969   Ford series trucks, it was also the last one with screw shank hardened nails for the install.
