These quality striker plates are chrome plated to make them harder and more durable to last longer. They're also sold in a kit comes with shems and screws mounting   mounting screws. If one of your old ones is shot, the other one is probably not far behind it. These fit 1953, 1954, and 1955 F-100 thru F-600 trucks.
